What I hate more than anything is how people condescendingly generalize Anime as “Cookie Cutter BS” as if to say that they’ve seen every Anime in existence. theyre edited out bc the american license holders dumb it down for a younger audience. half the anime that gets taken over to the american market isnt targeted at the same demographic in japan as it is in the united states and any real anime fan will tell you subs are better because its the real, original story/version as opposed to some copy of it. its the same concept as with remakes really.
