There are no framerate issues. It’s a deliberate choice to simulate the look of traditional 2D animation.
It’s nothing new, really, just watch pretty much any super robot anime with CG mecha and you’ll see. It was this way in the first two Love Plus games and it will be like this in the next twenty they make, no matter what console, unless they decide to go for another style. It’s a well known fact, that if something can throw a gamer off track, it’s this:
“Relax, it’s just a game” or “Calm down, it’s just a game” or, as this forum proudly displays “don’t panic, it’s just a game”.
It pains me to see people still writing this, and it kills me to see the creators doing so. Pacman is just a game. Tetris is just a game. Half life, Assassin’s Creed, Skyrim, LIMBO, Portal and Katawa Shoujo alike, isn’t just games. It’s art, it’s beauty, it’s something to be experienced and admired, it’s something you put your time into, it’s one of the few positive sides of the human mind and influence. It’s something that makes you think and wonder, something that makes you feel and jadda jadda, I’m not gonna try and give a lengthy speech, since I’ve already made my point.
Please don’t say it’s just a game, it’s like saying World Trade Center was just some buildings with some people.
I play games a lot, but only Japanese games, because American games are boring and simple-minded.
There are tons of Japanese games for girls. They should at least get some advice from their Japanese friends or fellows~What the hell. Why are there no honorifics? I thought JAST was pro-honorifics.
Outside the partial voicing, now I won’t be able to know how characters are being addressed in respect to honorifics, won’t be able to get that warm feel since I know I’m missing out on something that adds to the script and to characterization.
Seriously, the delay was bad enough, and now I am even more disappointed in JAST.So let’s be honest here.
